I helped out with a rotary initiative bush care this Sunday @Meier road (summerset village). Here we helped pull out some weeds which have been growing over trees and vegetation. We also got some subway after from the rotary club at the retirement village which was great.

I volunteered at bunnings on a Saturday, helping out Toowong rowing with the bbq. It was an enjoyable experience where I helped turned onions and snags. It was also rewarding helping out a community close to college.

Helped set up the dinning hall for the Anzac Day event. We helped move the chairs into rows and moved the tables to the end of the hall. It was good being able to help out prior to the event tomorrow as it is a very important and significant event which I was able to get involved with.

Attended a wellness initiative. Discussing social life at uni and how to manage our emotions and different friend groups. This was particularly useful in seeing how things have changed over the past 2 weeks since o-week.

I participated in Clean up Australia Day. Within these 2 hours I helped picked up rubbish around areas in St Lucia and particularly down near St Lucia Golf Course. In doing so it gave me an insight into how we should continue to keep Australia clean and sustainable for the future.
