I spent an hour on Sunday removing Glycine vine on the fence line of the Biobasin. It’s a hard to reach spot and was making its way into the tree canopy. I got about a third of it done.

on sunday we went on a field trip to Fingal Head beach in northern NSW. we looked at the naturally forming columnar bar rocks (picture 1) and took notes on the lithology of the nearby beach! although windy, it was very beautiful and very clean- so no rubbish needed to be picked up, yay! 🥰🎉🪨

Today, 11/4, we helped bring the food down from the kitchen and attended the SHE-week pool party with snacks. The set up was great and it there was so much good food, had a lot of fun!

All the rain we’ve had in Brisbane recently has meant the invasive vines have gone crazy with growth. I’m seeing whole parks being swallowed 😢 So I spent 2 hours removing vines on Padstow road near the Sunnybank Rugby club. I’ll post a couple more stories with before and after pictures.
