There’s something really special about coming home from a Rotary conference with more than just ideas… At the recent Tri-District Conference at RACV Royal Pines Resort, I had the pleasure of connecting with greenbrand (greenbrand.org), I was gifted something truly meaningful. A healthy Red Bloodwood and a Koala Tree. Cameron asked that I not only plant them, but share their story, and I absolutely love that! So this morning, Mark and I are heading out into our native garden here in Yerra, in the beautiful Fraser Coast Hinterland, to give these two a new home. There’s something grounding about planting trees, knowing they’ll grow, support wildlife, and stand long after us. The Koala Tree especially feels like a little promise to our environment, a future home for one of Australia’s most loved animals. I’m genuinely excited to watch them grow and to share their journey over time. Thank you to Greenbrand for such a thoughtful and purposeful gift, a reminder that small actions, when multiplied, can create real impact. Volunteered for the Gallipoli Medical Research 50-50 program at the Dolphins NRL game.

Attending the Rotary Tri District conference at Royal Pines on the Gold Coast. Handed out 10 trees so far. Looking forward to see the stories on where they get planted!

Made friends with Asi from Sun Engineering, learnt lots about PNG and the company. Looking forward to tasting some Highlands grown coffee!

Drove up for the Kings Autumn Tour Morning on the 9th of April and assisted with both the 9am and 11am touring groups. Answered questions, varied tour routes, created personal connections and offered an insightful and positive tour experience for prospective families.

Volunteered for 50/50 for the gallipoli medical research charity whilst the dolphins and Melbourne storm played, we raised around 600 dollars

Volunteering at the rugby game to raise funds through 50/50 raffles for the GMR.

On Wednesday morning, our flat participated in Bush Care, to help protect the local natural environment. I worked with Holly to pull out any invasive weeds.

We played netball socially which was good to meet people within the Kings community.

On wednesday morning i completed my flats bushcare and helped with the weeding and cleaned up.
