Earlier this week, we proudly delivered 100 MOM Packs to the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH), each carefully packed with essential sanitary and hygiene items to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families across South East Queensland. This project holds deep meaning for us as a club. At its core, community service is about recognising where we can support others with empathy and action – even in small, practical ways. Each pack represents our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals in ways that are thoughtful, meaningful, and grounded in care. The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health is a regional not-for-profit Community Controlled Health Service that delivers health, wellbeing, and social support services across the region in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community health organisations. Their work is grounded in respect, cultural strength, and discipline – values we deeply admire and are proud to support. This initiative embodies the true spirit of "Service Above Self" – dedicating our time, effort, and care to respond meaningfully to the needs of our broader community. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to IUIH’s incredible mission. A special thank you to Past President and Rotaract Advisor, Nim Prasad, from the Rotary Club of Brisbane International, for your ongoing guidance and assisting us with this meaningful project. Swipe to see some behind-the-scenes moments from our packing session, powered by teamwork and heart. 🙌
