Went to cookie decorating for SHE week!

I went to she week Pilates and just dance and trivia it has been a very fun week!

We were apart of the She-week pilates morning session on Monday, it was so much fun, i really enjoyed it!

I did 1 hour and 40 minutes of bushcare

We did pilates & scones in the JCR to kick off SHE-week. I was part of the organizing committee for the week and decided to join in on Monday morning pilates.

I attended 3 sex education sessions that were held in the Kings Chapel

Our session was lead by Jack, he taught us which plants were needed to be taken out and why. It was nice to help the local community with bushcare.

It’s like unwrapping a living present. Question: What is wrapped by Glycine vine here??? Answer: A Lillypilly!

Here is an example of what can be achieved with simple actions and a little bit of work. Under the glycine vine was not one but two trees; a Brush Box and Silky Oak. Hopefully, with follow-up, both these trees get to grow another 30m tall.

All the rain we’ve had in Brisbane recently has meant the invasive vines have gone crazy with growth. I’m seeing whole parks being swallowed 😢 So I spent 2 hours removing vines on Padstow road near the Sunnybank Rugby club. I’ll post a couple more stories with before and after pictures.
