Volunteering as a business mentor might not plant trees, but it definitely stops people printing 47 versions of a terrible business plan. So while I settle into my new role as Associate Director of Student Wellbeing here at King's and get so much wonderful mentorship from everyone around me to find my feet, I support new entrepreneurs on the other side of the globe get it right the first time and save forests from death-by-spreadsheet ;) I've mentored Celine since the beginning of the year to start her own business supporting uni students write Bachelor and Master's theses effortlessly. We meet once a month for an hour but I swear the happiness we both gain from it lasts a lot longer :)

Volunteering (self) : (1 Session)
Volunteered this Sunday morning for the Young care foundation. The young care foundation hosted a 5km budgie bolt in attempts to raise money for greater care for the disabled youth. Bella and I helped set up the tables, and then we were walk marshals making sure people stuck to the right course. After this we then packed up the tents and gave water to people who had finished the race. Overall, it was a really fun day and it felt great to give back to the community for such an important cause.

Heartsinrugby /young care : (1 Session)
Today from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, I took part in a weeding session around the basketball courts. We focused on a fence that had become completely overgrown with vines and weeds. Over the course of the morning, we worked to carefully remove all the vegetation covering the fence, helping to clean up and improve space.
