Played in social netball

Tomorrow is Queensland Environment Day. I visited the Biobasin and spent an hour collecting one bag of rubbish, removing juvenile glycine vine and planted 3 trees, a Gossamer Wattle, Firey paperbark and a Lilly Pilly, all of which are native to Brisbane. So nice to see my previous tree plantings growing so big.

Last game of social netball - the other team didn’t show up so we played each other and it was lots of fun

I organised together a kings team to play social netball for UQ for this week. I organised players, washed bibs and coordinated with UQ sports and communicated game information to the team. The past few games were cancelled due to wet weather so I was in charge of managing players before those games and keeping on top of updates. I really enjoyed this game we played today, it was a nice study break during SWOTVAC which brought everyone together.

Was a very interesting talk last night about women and young children affected by domestic violence. The zephyr foundation are doing amazing things and is such a great cause to support ❤️
