Rainforest planting on a landslip. Selection of several native species, endemic to the region. Planted, staked, guarded, and mulched over a hundred seedling trees with the help of 3 friends.

A huge weekend. Massive clearing of long grass by hand with an old Cane Cutter blade. Then planted over 60 trees. The aim was to help our mate Jules stabilise the sloping land beneath his pool

Big weekend. I watered the 100+ trees we planted on Saturday. Handheld 8L watering can, up and down a 30m 45 degree slope 💪

Loaded up the car with 285 grasses, shrubs and trees for our weekend of planting near Dunoon!!! No room for Chris lol

Helped out our maintenance person with trimming shrubs back from the shopping centre entrance to make sure it’s safe for families! We turned these trimmed branches and clippings into mulch which was placed back on the gardens to help retain moisture during long spells with rain and helps with weed control!!

Glycine regrowth removed from the lomandras and Eucalyptus tree. Roots removed, no poison required!! Looks good in the before and after pics below.

Glycine vine is over growing these lomandras and the biobasin opposite. I can sort out the path, but will get council to do some heavy lifting in the basin. We can then maintain 😊

Here’s just one of many trees being smothered and killed along a popular path near the Sunnybank Rugby club. 15min later it has a new lease on life!

Retrieved party balloons from the ocean

This plastic bag was dancing in the wind like a land jellyfish, just needing to be put in the bin, as I made my way to the bus. Now a turtle won’t mistake it as a real jellyfish if it made it to the ocean. You can write stories without outputs and mins spent if it is a once off good gesture, or even if you notice someone else’s great work, or if something needs to be done.

I picked up rubbish.

I planted 3 paper bark trees along the fence line and a lemon scented tea 🌳 next to chicken coop. So chickens are happy smelling lemon scent whenever wind blows. I am so excited about having big willow like trees in 5 years

Evicting vines from the side of a housing estate. Please view the before and after pictures. What a transformation and a good feeling to have kbowing this little shrub was in trouble.. Now free to feel the breeze between its branches..
